Abandoned Queen Anne-style Home Built circa 1900

According to the residents who live nearby, this magnificent house in the Queen Anne style has been abandoned for more than half a century. The enormous home in a rural Georgia town is 4,000 square feet and was constructed in the year 1900. It is located on a wide corner lot. When hurricane-force winds blew over one of the chimneys a few years ago, it caused it to smash through the wraparound porch and narrowly missed hitting the roof.

According to the public records, the property is currently held by a couple from Florida. At first, they intended to live in the house while it was being renovated one room at a time into their new home. In spite of this, the couple had just about finished the parlor room when they made the decision that they no longer wanted to live in the house.
